As June approaches, the Texas Young Lawyers Association is winding down another successful year filled with numerous public service projects made possible by the countless hours of the TYLA staff, officers, and board members.  Rebekah Steely Brooker will soon end her term as president and C. Barrett Thomas will take her place.  Rebekah has proven to be a tireless and inspiring leader who has accomplished much more than she envisioned when she took over last year (all while raising three wonderful children, I might add!).  And under the steady guidance of Barrett (who is besting Rebekah’s kid-count by one!), TYLA will unveil many new and exciting ways to help Texans.  Please join me in thanking Rebekah and in giving Barrett all of our support for the job ahead!
