After the tragic events of 9/11, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers organized the Freedom Run as an opportunity for our community to unite to honor the heroes, victims, and first responders. We continue this tradition with the 15th annual Freedom Run to celebrate the freedom we enjoy every day and honor those who have sacrificed to keep us safe. The Freedom Run is a 5K Race/One Mile Fun Walk benefiting the Assist the Officer Foundation (ATO). The ATO provides financial assistance to officers experiencing the loss of income from serious injury or illness. 

This year the Freedom Run will be held at 6:30 p.m. on September 10, 2015, at City Hall Plaza.  The family friendly event will also feature live music and refreshments. Groups are encouraged to sponsor five-member teams in the Corporate Team Challenge. Corporate teams receive access to the VIP tent on race day and T-shirts.  Individual participants can register online at www.FreedomRun.com. The registration fee for adult-timed runners is $30, and the fee for untimed runners is $25.
