Young Lawyers Gather for ABA 2015 Fall Conference
By:  Rusty O’Kane

From October 15 to 17, members of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) met in Little Rock, Arkansas, for the 2015 Fall Conference. Lawyers from all over the country came together to gain new strategies, connections, and knowledge to move their practices and organizations forward. Specifically, practice area experts came to offer lectures where attendees earned CLE credit to learn effective skills and techniques to help make them better lawyers and more effective leaders. Everyone shared perspectives and best practices on ways to advance diversity and inclusion in the profession. There was even some fun as everyone connected at special events such as the Dinner Dance at the Clinton Presidential Center.

Rusty O’Kane is an associate in the commercial litigation section of Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, where he focuses on business and general contract disputes, and occasionally finds time to compete in triathlons for fun.
